Dr. Nyandoro Kambi, a beloved leader of the Shabana FC and a prominent figure in the Borabu MP seat, has passed away. Dr. Kambi collapsed in his law firm last evening, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service to his community.
Dr. Kambi was a beloved son of Borabu who had dedicated his life to serving the people of Borabu and beyond. He was born and raised in Nyansiongo Division, Borabu District, Borabu Constituency, and attended Nyansiongo D.E.B Primary School, Menyenya and Sameta High Schools. Despite the odds, he passed his A Level exams and was admitted to the University of Nairobi in 1990, where he completed a four-year degree in Law in December 1994. He then joined the Kenya School of Law in 1995 and later pursued a Masters and PhD from the University of Dar es Salaam.
Dr. Nyandoro Kambi has been practicing law in Kenya and other Commonwealth countries, and has initiated many development projects in Borabu and other parts of the country. He was the patron of the Borabu Development Initiative, an NGO that works to promote peace at the Borabu-Sotik border and empower the youth, women, and men. He was also the founder of Dr. Nyandoro Kambi Foundation, which provides education to orphans and bright but underprivileged students. He was also the Chairman of Shabana football club steering the club to the top of the lower league division. He was an advocate for the empowerment of women and children’s rights, and was a staunch believer in equality and justice for all. He was also a mentor and friend to many.
Dr. Kambi was a true example of dedication and perseverance, and his commitment to the people of Borabu and beyond is admirable. He was an inspiration to many and his legacy will live on for generations to come.
